  The Spring Festival is very important to Chinese people.

Because most people can have a long holiday, and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family. The people who work outside come back, and the whole family gets together to have meals and say goodbye to the last year, and welcome the New Year. After the meal, they wait until midnight comes. They set off fireworks then.
